Change Your Windows 7 Start Button
I had customized my Windows Start button icon and text back in Windows 98 days.

Well you still could in windows 2000 and xp, but not as well. At least you could change the text.

Windows 7 doesn't have text "Start" next to the button like it did before
but you can change the pic.

there's an app out there that allow you to pick and chose the pix and change the button. do a google on W7SBC and you'll get it.
