The item does send sound to the radio but it seems to have a hiss. I have had this experience with all FM transmitters. I think the Belkin version is better. Stay away from battery operated and only use line level FM transmitters. I just feel I should be getting more for $35.

That's the same feeling everyone gets after they pay the extra money for monster anything.
