| Ask her what everyone else is bringing or she is fixing so you know which food category is in shortest supply (for example hors d'oeuvres, bread, carbohydrates, vegetables, beer, meats, desserts, drinks, beer, vodka) -OR- bring your favorite one-pot dish so if everything else tastes like crap you still have something decent to eat. |

Me and my fiance are vegan, so we have to cook something that we can eat ourselves, in case there's nothing else for us to eat. I would say just cook something that you think sounds good and you want to eat. If nobody else eats it, you get lots of leftovers Cookies and treats always seem to go over well too, even there are already tons. |

After years of disappointing us at Christmas, we're cooking Santa.
"HO-HO-HO" makes excellent "YUM-YUM-YUM" |

| Hamburger, Velveeta Cheese, and Rotel Tomatoes in a crock pot with chips for dipping is always a hit. Good luck with whatever you decide and I hope you have a happy and safe one. |

Well, if you eat yourselves, that right there proves that your statement that you are Vegan is a lie !!
I think I'm owed an apology. |

| The problem with eating yourself is that you run out of body parts pretty fast. You start with eating a finger or two hoping you won't missed them, then pretty soon you discover you don't have a leg to stand on... |
