Is there no way to upload an avatar? I see that I can choose from the pre-defined ones, but that's all.

It goes to great trouble mentioning that they must be no larger than 80X80 and 6KB but it then only allows you to choose between ones that are already uploaded.

Is this a bug or just poor programming?

#1 is the biggest (both literally and figuratively speaking) troll on this forum. That is why he is only permitted to have a stock avatar, whereas I was permitted to upload my own custom m0f0 avatar. Such are the perks of being an Official Ben's Bargains Product Maven. *smirk*

why do you want your own avatar? Just go with the stock forum one. that way you don't stand out. Besides do those people who load their custom avatars really think that any of us want to see them posing in a tutu with their cats? Not for me the less you know the better.

We do not allow custom avatars or editing avatars. Too many people abuse that. You can pick from several in the avatar gallery linked in your user profile.

You can setup a custom avatar using Gravatar by linking using the same email for bens as Gravatar.
