Colorful remarks are part of what makes Ben's Bargains great, but it seems in the past few months there have been an exceptional number of disturbances by only a handful of members.
They don't seem to have any interest in the deal topic, the seller, or anything at all related. They don't even seem to be trying to add anything to the flavor of the site, only disturbance the majority of the time. It might even be harassment but that's shades of grey.
We need some moderators. People with thick skin that don't get trigger happy about posts but just remove some of the clutter from today's environment at Ben's to get it back to where it was up until a few months ago.
I'm sure we'll be hearing from some of the more distruptive members shortly to prove my point.

I say either the post deletion w/vacations or simply turn on the Ignore feature. The 1st is a better solution, but far more difficult to pull off. The second is gloriously simple. Also, if it's at all possible to orchestrate, perhaps limiting each IP address to 1 account might make the multiple accounts and the account spoofing a little more challenging at least, although roommates might have to share an ID. Or do people secretly love the spoofing and the secret aliases?
PS - You're the only other person besides me and dave_c to post in this thread, so it's pretty darn likely that you are the one who voted to do Absolutely Nothing. So what the hell are you bitching about? You obviously love a forum where you aren't held accountable for your actions, no matter how stupid or heinous.
