It seems to me, that every nation but very few (those banned now) are profiting from this. Oh, in some states it's still legal but some not, like NY for instance. They took away our means of funding these sites, but it's still doable. It's been made more of a bacon than anything, as it still goes on. The gaming sites take in millions...yes, millions upon millions per day. Imagine if it was totally legalized in the US and the needed revenue it could bring in if it was regulated and taxed...plus make a lot of people much happier?? People will ultimately do what they want anyway, there ARE ways to get around things. I just can't help saying it, but this is one dumb country!
Don't even get me started on how the Bush people got this into law. It had to do with homeland security...geeze. |

George W. Bush is a great American hero and patriot. He will go down in history as the greatest President in the history of the country. Who are you to insult him in this way? *smirk* |

Anyone who could even equate poker playing with playing the lottery isn't even worth discussing this with. The lottery is total luck. While poker playing has a large element of luck, it also takes knowledge of game theory, strategy and skill.
As for Bush's Yale education. I'm duly impressed, but on the other hand, when he speaks, it often sounds like gibberish. |

| I doubt that very much. It's legal at most offshore countries and countries all over the world now, BUT the US. Even within the US people are still able to fund their accounts legally with the exception of a few states. People have gotten around not being able to use cc's or bank accounts to fund their accounts, so they send bank checks, western union or money orders directly. Our banking institutions have no idea how to regulate where we send our money to, and frankly they don't want to be bothered. The idea is to amend the law, legalize it, have it regulated and taxed by law. The winners are getting away with the money they win and are not being taxed. The sites themselves are making MILLIONS upon millions per day. There are hundreds of such sites online now with a few having to shut down due to the loss of US players. If Antiqua or Costa Rica, some Euro countries, etc. are at benefit by making this kind of money at something the players want anyway...don't you think we should be making that money? |

Totally agree, mofo. Slobama may win, but he will be laughed out of office in 4 years. America is largely composed of a lot of stupid people.
bacon/Douglas Fur/HAHA/Jwalsh got pwned so bad he is afraid to post his pay stub.

| Online gambling is a huge source of revenue and should definaely be legalized. One can go out and spend all their money on alcohol and get violent or just be a bum or whatever, but I can't try to multiply my money in a way that would be legal if I were doing it in an "approved" building. Doesn't make much sense to me. |

| Keep online gaming illegal, it's all a big scam and serves no purpose except to deprive rodeo cowboy of money so they end up costing society even more than they otherwise would've. If someone wants to gamble that much let them get off their ass and go to a real casino that can be regulated extensively. |

ez_groin, that was the funniest post I have read on this site this week. Do you normally mix steroids with your alcohol? |
