AT&T Wireless is offering a minimum $200 credit toward the purchase of an iPhone when you trade in your old (still working) iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c. Receive a minimum $300 credit when you trade in an iPhone 5s. New two-year agreement required; offer ends September 30th.
You can get an additional $100 bill credit if you activate a new line of service with a smartphone on AT&T Next.
The 4.7" iPhone 6 starts at $199 and the 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299. The new phones feature A8 processors, 8MP cameras, NFC, barometer, global LTE and Apple Pay.
The other major carriers are also buying back previously owned iPhones as credit towards an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus (with new 2-year contracts):
- Verizon Wireless has a $200 to $300 Credit for iPhones (4 to 5s)
- Sprint has a $200 to $300 Credit for iPhones (4 to 5s) (matching offer)
- T-Mobile has a $200 to $300 Credit for iPhones (4 to 5s) (matching offer)
