9 Amazing Children’s Book Covers Inspired by Video Games

By on April 11, 2014

Developed by the creative genius of illustrator Joey Spiotto, this collection combines the classic 1980’s design of children’s books with popular video games of today. Video game franchises represented within this collection include Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mass Effect, Half-Life, Bioshock, Portal, Skyrim and Red Dead Revolver.

In addition to the video game designs, Spiotto also created a number of children’s book designs spoofing the Cornetto Trilogy as well as popular characters from the Predator / Aliens franchises and characters from shows on the Cartoon Network. If you are interested in purchasing any of Spiotto’s designs, be sure to check out his Etsy storefront.
