As Seen on the Internets: SKODA’s Steroid-Infused Baby Stroller

By on August 5, 2013

Tired of always losing the baby stroller races in the park to the other dads? Are you disappointed that you can’t take Junior off-road for a little mountain strolling action? Are you pissed about the general lack of hydraulic suspension on your current stroller? Fear not, my friends. Someone has finally made a baby stroller that would make Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor grunt loud enough to knock Wilson’s fence down.

Skoda's manly baby stroller

Meet the ŠKODA “vRS Mega Man-Pram,” a baby stroller that’s likely been injected with steroids and human growth hormone as well as fed a steady diet of Weight Gain 4000. This testosterone-dripping stroller offers 20-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, hefty brake calipers, hydraulic suspension, rear-view mirrors and a high-beam headlight when strolling back home from Baby Fight Club at 2 a.m.

While ŠKODA built the stroller for an advertisement of their new car, the company also conducted a survey that found 76 percent of men would be more likely to push their baby’s stroller if it were more manly. The most commonly requested features were muscular design, enhanced height, a hydraulic suspension system, high spec brakes,  brake lights and rear-view mirrors. In addition, one out of four dads insisted their wives be the one to push the stroller when on a walk together.

Skodas are always launching very unique design and the models as per the customer’s needs and thats why to make the stroller more man friendly they give them a muscular format with the amazing break and hydraulic suspension system.

That has to weigh a ton… needs a motor, remote control, and a beer formula fridge.

It looks like Skoda has a good sense of humor – or else the designers were on steroids too! However, being involved in the stroller business myself, I’ll admit that dads need more masculine strollers (they tend to go for strollers like Jeep, Bob Ironman etc. that look more macho). But will dads really spend more time with their babies just because of the stroller? I doubt it!
On the other hand, they might spend more time doing sports with a stroller like this – running etc. which I guess has the same result in the long run. They’d need to do more sports with a stroller like this, just so they don’t look so puny next to it!
