It doesn't say anything about a credit check in the fine print--just that you must have proof of insurance, be 21+ and own a 2004 or newer non-GM vehicle. I'd probably call your local dealership to make sure they're participating before making the trip!
they need current insurance and registration of your car being 2004 or newer and non gm. Also it requires a 30 minute test drive. They fill out the paperwork submit it and you will get it in 5 weeks.
OK" Its a great idea from Cadillac to gain Business and get clients to the dealer. But please understand its a 100 dollar gift card thats wonderful. But please DONT WASTE CADILLACS SALES MEN AND WOMENS TIME just because you want a hundred dollars thats how sales people make a living. just a little note
^ It's Cadillac that should have thought of this. Not us. (Although, of course, many people who do these test drives are considerate about the salespeople's time.) Further, the salespeople should be able to judge whether they have a real prospect, rather than just someone looking for the promo check.
If a person can afford to buy a Cadillac, they shouldn't give much value to a gift card promo that involves any effort. Not sure who GM is trying to attract here, but I think it is just calling out for asshats.
^ It's probably to keep the riff raff from participating. People whose daily driver car is older than 10 years don't tend to buy new Cadillacs. There's nothing wrong with driving an older car but people generally do it for the economy in doing so which is at odds with buying a new Cadillac.

I don't suppose you work at a dealership, #7?
Okay, W. C. Fields.
Correct, this is a commitment of your time and energy. Not worth it unless you plan to earn it as an hourly wage at their dealership.

By riff raff, are you talking about ghetto dogs?
I mean people who are just taking up the dealership's time to get the gift card without any interest in buying a car soon.
Pssst, yeah look at the 420 hp CTS and get back to me on that....
Thank you!
