bad reviews over time. looks great for a bit then wears very poorly.

Don NOT use on a basement floor. It doesn't last long and collects moisture underneath, causing a constant musty smell. Also used in bathroom on an upper floor where it has worked great. Been there 4 years now.

If there is moisture collecting then the room may need leak sealed and/or a dehumidifier used.
