The compatibility list is fairly long, leading me to think it's probably interfacing with the opener controls on a mechanical (relay switching the circuit controlled by switches on the wired wall panel) rather than logical interface level or using RF remote codes.
If true this means you could probably figure out how to adapt it fairly easily to most garage door openers. In other words you'd just replace the wired wall panel with the one included in this kit, not really needing to adapt it at all. *I reserve the right to be wrong.* Also note that Craftsman openers are made by and very similar to their Chamberlain counterparts.
