The Celeron 2955U + 2GB version was on sale for $280 back in December. This model has an upgraded Celeron N2815 1.86GHz dual-core processor and 4GB memory.

    The N2815 is a lot slower than the 2955U. N2815 is atom based. Don't get fooled. Get the other one and just put more RAM in.

    wife traded in her macbook air 11.6 for this. Sold the latter for $500. She tried it for a year. Not a fan of OSX. I made Win8 tolerable for her by making it look and act more like 95/xp/7. She's happy and richer. This Dell is fine. Fast enough for her casual use. One dead pixel.
