    This is a very good deal for a good unit, I have a lesser model that I paid more for and I love it. Plasma TV are very good, better blacks, work best in darker rooms. If the room you have is very bright, stay LCD.

    i also have a 60" 2011 model LG plasma and i love it. have had no problems, would buy this in a heartbeat if i needed a new one!

    absolutely love mine, i paid about 800 and feel like i got a great deal a year or so ago. only downsides: heat, weight, and reflectivity of light.

    i have a friend that's had a panasonic unit for about 8 years now and there is less burn in that on lcds i see, so no issue there as far as i'm concerned. anyway go for it
