lots of issues with the windows hardware, best to wait till these are on fire sale for $100, it might be that version 3 or 4 will be on part with the rest of the computer industry.

I have the samsung. Win8 is fine for me because I can just click to get the desktop. Samsung included an app that recreates the Start Button.
But soon after I got it the battery life went downhill. I discovered they changed the Power settings. They removed hibernate and put in some cellphone power method. The tablet never really powered down.
I hacked it and got hibernate back and my battery life returned.
^ Fire sale for $100? Is that comment for real? Do you think before you type?
He probably has mistaken it for the RT version. I personally prefer an Asus T100. It's cheaper, with great battery life. The performance is find for most apps but not as good as an "i" processor, but that's what you get if you go 10 hours with plugging in. If you do get a T100, be ready to spend a few extra on a skin and screen shield. Not so much for protection but to cover the cheap greasy-fingerprint plastic they use.
Have the RT seems to be ok so far hate that it doesn't allow other browsers to be installed.
Maybe the pro 64 will go below $300 soon i might be intrested. At $500 still to high

Dont like Windows 8 much but hopefully Windows 9 can bring new life to this otherwise great hardware.

Isn't that with 64GB?
The deal might still be better because will charge you approx $40 more in taxes.
Thank you!
