I signed up for this two weeks ago (1/13). During the sign-up at the Experian website, I verified my identity by SSN/DOB, answering multiple choice questions about my credit history, usual things... but THEN the website said they would verify my identity by mailing a confirmation to my home address (wait, WHAT?). Two weeks later, I haven't received a thing from them. Perhaps they're too busy handling
Target
's customers, but WTF?

Yeah input more information into a website whose data can be hacked. I'll take my chances with just getting a new cc.

Target
needs to die. They should have spent more on network security and less on god-awful ads that support crappy TV shows. If you MUST buy Chinese-made **** there, then at least spend cash, send them a message that they cannot be trusted. All we need is for
Target
to go the way of Circuit City in order to tell the rest of them to HIRE SOME F'N IT SUPPORT!

IT obviously leaves a lot to be desired, however I'd rather see
Walmart
go away.

Wondering where in the fine print they snuck in the line that says by using this service, you agree not to join a class action lawsuit against
Target
??

^ Yeah but given today's climate, nobody in their right mind would trust those 3 agencies with credit card data, despite what Obama will tell you an hour from now.

That's weird, I actually had no issues signing up (other than qualms about giving
Target
my email address), and they never said anything about mailing a confirmation. Maybe you got one of the questions wrong, according to their data at least?

I signed and chose the mail option too. About a week later I received my log in code. Signed up no problem.
