Fathead is one of the merchants. I'd have bought a few more things from them but the shipping is expensive. This will take care of that.
Newegg
is a nice one too.

I signed up for this before the holidays and haven't been able to use it once. Unfortunately
Newegg
has gone down the drain since.

I love their service. Used it exclusively on
Newegg
and have been very reliable. The AMEX free membership is a great bonus!

"Unfortunately

I don't know what that is all about.
Newegg
has always been great. I have not noticed any downgrade in service.

Signed up, why not. Had a Amex card (that I never use), but if I want the free shipping, it might come in handy some time.

Newegg
has been going down hill and has now added "
Newegg
Premier Membership, only $49.99/year", which give you free shipping. To me that means they are going to up regular shipping cost, reduce the offers of free shipping on products, and the "Premier" is directly lined up to get rid of ShopRunner from
Newegg
. Add to that ShoprRnner taking in Tiger Direct as a client, and I see trouble for ShopRunner at
Newegg
. Yes,
Newegg
has gone down hill.

^ Yes
newegg
has already reduced the frequency of free shipping on products. Often the rate looks rather low but it still raises the total.

Newegg acts like they want to be just like
Amazon
, taking on 3rd party merchants, offering appliances, clothing, car parts and more, putting up a token Q&A where every product is spammed with a starter question "Why did you buy this?", and now their own free shipping club too.

Now all they need to finish the job is make their website as cluttered (they're going in the right direction), and start increasing the number of states they charge tax on.
