You're right #3, however, I buy several hundred items a year from So, assuming I bought 200 items and paid $79 for the Prime membership, that comes to .40 per item for shipping. I know it's going up (for me next year), but second day shipping for the items is worth it to me. Shop Runner is even better, because I get it free as an American Express card holder. Oh, and thanks for removing my picture from yours.
I'd prefer Prime more if it didn't come with 2nd day shipping.
It's one thing to have the UPS truck stop at my house along its normal route as either me or neighbors always give him cause to be in the area, but somewhat wasteful for UPS to have to send out a 2nd truck only for sparsely located destinations to meet the 2nd day shipping when they would otherwise have just put it on the regular delivery truck that came by the next day.
If I absolutely positively need an item in 2 days then I don't leave it up to chance that will ship the same day so the 2 day shipping will result in that, rather that is what B&M store purchases are for.
^ Wow!. You must be the Optimus Prime of I guess if you crunch the numbers, Prime is a better deal than a membership at Costco or Sam's Club and you avoid the cost of using a car to drive to a store. And you avoid sales tax if Amazon doesn't collect it.
dave_c: The UPS Customer Service Center is along the route I take to the gym. I signed up for UPS' My Choice and I often change my delivery option to Will Call which allows me to pick up the package in person.
I must really be an primate...I have Prime and I have an rebate credit card with no annual fee and no interest if paid in full monthly. I put everything on the card, even things not bought at like my real estate taxes. Many of my purchases are paid with my rebates and Prime covers the shipping. It feels like I'm getting free stuff!
These jeans are the brand I have been wearing ever since Britania jeans was bought by Wrangler's parent company and were discontinued. This price is very good and I think these are quality jeans.
