My coffee mug is almost as big as this thing will print. I guess to keep the price down they sacrifice on printing area. I have always wanted a 3d printer but I really thing a bigger print area would help this out a ton.

It's still a relatively new technology, hence the price. These will be half the price with a larger printing area in the near future.
