got mine yesterday. ripped dvd straight to 420x320 mpg4. now i don't have to worry about ripping dvd and then re-endocding it for the kids phones/tablets.
i still buy dvds as they are easier to rip and take less space. for what i'm doing with them afterwards 1080p is not necessary.

why worry about sharing on Facebook or Twitter to receive the registration code? you can go to any forum and get a free key generator or a straight up crack without advertising for them at all. BTW, they will hound you relentlessly to purchase an upgrade or buy some of their other programs as well.
there was a time 15 years ago you could find keygen or crack for product and not worry as much about viruses or malware. now they are all packed with one or the other or both. but for the most part what do you really need to crack/keygen anymore? there is just about a free way to do everything you need anymore, may not be the most convenient way but still a way.
I got one of these free downloads a few years ago. If I remember correctly the product is a one time download and can't be upgraded. I forgot and tried to upgrade it and the key would no longer work. I could not go back to the original version either. I couldn't find my original dl to reinstall it. So check out the details before you try to upgrade.

1080p is necessary for my pirated movies. Why downsize when storage space is plentiful. Isn't that what clouds are for?
