It was no longer supported 2 years ago. The 1st gen was always a dud, with too little RAM to get out of its own way.

    A GREAT deal for $150

Someone looking for a great little tab, with Apple quality = this is it !!!

The "lack of" -or- no support: hardly an issue & certainly shouldn't deter a smart shopper for snatching up one. Amazingly as it might sound -->there's MILLIONS of Gen1 iPad owners out there, who are quite content with their non-supported Pads Smile

Tablet are just like their line of phones. Hardware get obsolete as they keep pushing for new OS following is apps to the point your device can't handle it anymore you need to UPGRADE. So F* them all. I will stick to my computer for now and knowingly it will work for at least 8yrs or more.

LOL, fanboyz are modding everyone down. Seems that a 32GB Nexus 7.1 would give more joy here at $140, unless you're already vested in the Apple ecosystem. Even then, the lack of support for current apps would be frustrating. I'm already starting to see that on my IpadV2.
